Is this the same thing as the Podcast Christmas Carol?

Hey Adrian,
No… completely separate production. There appears to be at least 3 different productions of this old tale this year, all by different groups. I’m looking forward to listening to all of them.

Entertaining, funny and more than a little moving. This must have taken a lot of work. Thank you for your efforts, and have a happy Christmas.

[…] I have got to say these little shows that the Friends in Tech group do are hilarious and I wish there were more of them. For Christmas the crew did ‘A Geek Christmas Carol‘ and it was very funny. If you haven’t heard it yet go check it out. A Geek Christmas Carol, Friends in Tech […]

Hey there!
I just listened, and I thought it was great!
I’m actually one of the producers/writers of that “other” christmas carol (one of them anyway,) The “A Podcast Christmas Carol” done by the Podcast Pickle community. http://apodcastchristmascarol.org, which should be ready for download late tonight or early tomorrow morning.
It was a blast to put together, that I’m sure we’ll be doing more projects like it in the future. Maybe next time, we’ll plan farther ahead to avoid overlap.
Anyway, I think it’s ultimately a case of “Great Minds think alike!” Maybe some of you could get involved with whatever show we do next too!
Anyway, I really loved your show, and I hope you enjoy ours as well. Merry Christmas to you guys!

Hey Christiana!
Glad you enjoyed it… we listened to the trailer for your production this morning. We’re all eagerly awaiting its release.
Only speaking for myself, but I’m sure there are others within the group who would be happy to get involved with future productions. Perhaps it could go both ways?
Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to you too!

Hi Christiana
I’d would be happy to be involved in any production that is for the good of the podcasting community.
Looking forward to hearing your production. The promo sounded great.

If Charles Dicken’s Were Alive Today…
If Charles Dickens were alive today, he’d be a podcaster.
It’s one of my personal holiday traditions to watch/read/listen to at least one version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens each year. There are so many productions, so much va…

Very well done! I liked the idea of making the theme of it based around
technology. Thanks to all for taking the time to make it available.

Kudos to the writers. They managed to bring the original story (keep Christmas in your heart, be good to your fellow man, etc) while including a second reminder for IT people “This is why you do what you do.” I didn’t hear that second meaning until after the whole thing was assembled. Very well done gentlemen.
Do you think Doctors/Physicians need reminding why they go to work when everyone complains to them “It hurts when I do this!” “Does this pustule gross you out?”
