Great, well done to everyone involved. I loved it and I'm not even a geek! ;)

"A Geek Christmas Story" is bound to become a Christmas classic; at least in geek families. Everyone did a great job. Thank you all for a great Christmas present for all your listeners.
  • Everyone did a great job on this, especially the kids! :)
  • Since we are scattered all over the US, we each record our parts separately and some very talented members edit the entire thing together from these pieces.

Unfortunately, this means no blooper real. Maybe we should create one, like Pixar does. :)
  • Great job! Did everyone record together or did you record separately? If you did it together I bet there is a great blooper reel! You should post the highlights.

Brings back a lot of great memories.

My very first computer was a Commodore 64 (age 10). It saved files to a cassette tape. I still remember the first program I ever wrote.

    10 X = 0
    20 PRINT X
    30 X=X+1
    40 GOTO 20

My parents were so impressed that I could "make the computer count."

    Well done!
  • I am sure there are bloopers somewhere, I know I had my share...but we do all record separately.
  • Oh my gosh - I used to peer longingly into the computer store in Walnut Creek in the early 80s, pining for a Commodore 64. Very poignant post!

A work of art guys. I just listened to it at work - bad idea. I was laughing out loud.

Now on Christmas Day I'm going to play it over and over for 24 hours.
